Why not? Why not start blogging?

It's not like I don't already have enough on my plate,

let's give blogging a try too!

I'm Salina.

Although that's my name

I honestly only see myself as a Mommy to my precious son

& a wife to my lovable husband.

Sometimes I find myself some much in love

with loving them, I may forget to love myself?

I'd rather give than receive.

I'm currently in DH (dental hygiene) school. Graduate May 2014!! WHOOOOP!

Maybe I'm doing this out of being delusional? 

I mean, it is 2:36am? Heck, why not?

We're having some rough storms in our area right now & my son woke up about an hour ago screaming "Mommy! Mommy!!" I rushed to his bedside to find that the storm (lighting & thunder) had woken & scared him. Monk (my son's name is Carter but I've always called him Monkey or Monk for short) said to me 

"mommy the storm is scaring me, let's pray about it!"

The amount of joy that flooded my heart when I heard him say that is unexplainable!

If there is one thing that I want to teach my child .. It's that

He's not walking through this nasty cruel world alone.

He has Jesus. He has everything he'll ever need.

Okay. Here's to my first blog post.

A little bit everywhere, but hey .. my life's a lot like that!
